We collect account and profile data you provide: username, email address, profile answers, preferences, and messages sent through the app. We also collect operational data such as request timestamps, IP addresses for security and abuse prevention, and aggregated performance telemetry.
Cookies and session storage
We use an HTTP-only authentication cookie to maintain your session. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set. We do not use browser local storage for personal data.
How we use it
Your data is used to operate matching, messaging, authentication, moderation, and abuse prevention. Aggregated, non-identifiable telemetry is processed for performance monitoring and error diagnostics. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Third-party services
We use infrastructure and monitoring services to operate the platform. These processors may handle data on our behalf under data processing agreements. No personal data is shared with advertising networks.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Security and access logs may be retained for a limited period to meet legal and abuse prevention obligations.
Account deletion
Deleting your account from the profile page performs a hard delete of your account row in our database. Your original message text is permanently wiped. Existing chat threads are retained only as empty placeholders for conversation continuity; the author field is cleared and displayed as "Deleted User" to other participants.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar regulations you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can export a full copy of your data at any time from your profile page. For other requests, contact us at the address below.
